The Great Massacre is a fighting game that puts you in the role of Greg, an immortal hero. This fighting game features outstanding graphics, a storyline presented in comic book-style fashion, and brutal gameplay!

The Great Massacre consists of three worlds, each containing eight missions. I advise you to complete each world in order of difficult from easiest to hardest. Before you can go on your quest into these three worlds, however, the game will begin with a tutorial that will teach you the basics. You cannot die in this tutorial, and all moves are unlocked for you. After completing the tutorial, your godly powers will be stripped from you and you will be forced into the mortal world. If you die, you will fail the current level but you will be able to retry an indefinite number of times. If you need to take a break from the action, you may continue from where you left off by clicking the "Continue" button on the main menu.

The Great Massacre can be beaten using only the basic controls. Punching is good if you want to attack quickly and rack up combos, while using your sword is good for longer-ranged attacks and dealing with multiple adversaries. If you want to learn the more advanced moves of this fighting game, you may pause the game at any time and take a look at the special moves that are available. Moves that have white text are available to you, while moves with gray text are currently unavailable. To unlock moves you will have to complete levels or buy the in the upgrade shop.

To access the upgrade shop, click on the button labeled "Upgrade" at the bottom of the screen between battles. From here you may increase your health, armor, weaponry, and more. You can also buy advanced moves and abilities. Click on the arrow buttons towards the top of the screen to view all of the different categories of upgrades available in this fighting game. I advise you to upgrade all of your basic statistics and to buy the guard ability as soon as possible.
