Muay Thai 2 Walkthrough
Muay Thai 2 is the sequel to the fighting game, Muay Thai. This beat-em-up game features superior graphics to its predecessor, smoother controls, and a greater variety of enemies to deal with.
The objective of Muay Thai 2 is to beat all enemies while staying alive. Stages are broken into substages. At the end of each substage, your health is restored. The final substage of a stage pits you against a powerful boss. This fighting game does not have a save feature, but you can restore your status by entering the proper code. Unfortunately, your money and score cannot be retained.
Muay Thai 2 uses the keyboard as a control device. The arrow keys are used to move, the Z key blocks, the X key punches, and the C key kicks. There are also special moves such as uppercuts and the trademark Muay Thai knee attack. I advise you to play the training mode of this fighting game to practice the controls and learn all of the special moves.
Defeating enemies earns money in Muay Thai 2. Money can be used in the store between stages to upgrade your character. You keep the money that you earn even if you are defeated, so if the first boss beats you, you can come back stronger to whip him. Some enemies also drop white orbs that replenish your health in this fighting game, so be on the lookout for them.
Before each stage (or from the main menu) of Muay Thai 2, you are given access to a shop to upgrade your character. You can upgrade your strength, power bar, and maximum special stock. I advise you to upgrade your strength first to give you an edge against enemies in this fighting game. After upgrading, you will be given a code that you can enter to restore your stats the next time that you play.
Muay Thai 2 is a major improvement over its predecessor, and a solid fighting game. Do Ting of Ong-Bak and Street Fighter's Sagat proud; beat your enemies with the power of Muay Thai in Muay Thai 2!
