Mascot Kombat Walkthrough
Mascot Kombat is a fighting game presented by PROTRADE. Mascot Kombat features four selectable characters, simple controls, and a zany sense of humor.
As its name implies, Mascot Kombat was inspired by the popular fighting game, Mortal Kombat. The objective is to defeat your opponents in best two out of three matches. If the game is too difficult, an easy difficulty level is available. There is no two-player mode in this game, unfortunately, so you will have to play against the computer in each fight.
Mascot Kombat uses the keyboard as its control device. The arrow keys are used to move. The A key is used to kick, the S key is used to perform strong attacks, and the D key performs quick attacks. Jumping and pressing any attack button performs a jumping kick while crouching and pressing any attack button performs an uppercut. Move towards your opponent and press the S key to lunge towards them. Press the arrow key pointing in the direction of your opponent twice followed by the D key to perform your special move. Finally, the spacebar is used to block in this fighting game.
Like the original Mortal Kombat, the four characters in Mascot Kombat share the same basic moves. Special moves are the only unique moves that characters have. Special moves pack a wallop and can be used repeatedly without penalty. In my opinion, Furball has the best special attack since its delay may catch your opponents off guard. In all cases, special moves should be executed at long range to give you time to input the command and to make sure that the projectiles connect.
Mascot Kombat is as action-packed as it is humorous, with its only downfalls being its small number of characters, lack of two-player mode, and its brevity (some players may prefer shorter games, however). Although the PROTRADE site has been shut down, you can still enjoy this fighting game!
