Khronos Walkthrough

Khronos (also known as Khronos: The Rise of Dark Warrior) is a bloodbath of a beat 'em up game! This fighting game features splendid graphics and animations, thirty-two achievements, and a variety of deadly combo attacks to unleash upon your foes!

In order of difficulty, Khronos features four modes of gameplay: Arrival at Hell, The Lost Soul, Dead or Alive, and Survival. The objective of the first three modes is to defeat a given number of enemies. Survival Mode pits you against endless waves of enemies and only ends when you are overwhelmed (or if you quit the game). Your data is automatically saved in this fighting game, so any achievements, awards, or characters that you unlock will be available the next time that you play.

Khronos employs keyboard controls. You may use the arrow keys or the WASD keys to move. The Z or K keys are used to attack and the X or L keys are used to perform special attacks. You may rapidly tap the attack key to perform combinations. A full list of combinations is provided in the instructions menu (reading the instructions is also one of this fighting game's thirty-two achievements).

If you are have mastered other beat 'em up games, then Khronos should not be too difficult for you. It is always best to keep your enemies in front of you, although special attacks and certain combos can hit enemies coming up from behind. It is possible to catch multiple enemies in a single combo, essentially killing "two birds with one stone". If you still find the game to be too difficult, you may want to try playing on a lower difficulty level. Lower difficulty levels do not scale down the power of this fighting game's enemies, but you will have less adversaries to face, making it easier to survive until the end.

Khronos is not the most complex fighting game, but that adds to its appeal for casual gamers and players looking for a quick fix of action. If you like beat 'em ups with spectacular graphics and animation that focus on fighting rather than storylines, then Khronos is the perfect game for you!
