Bloody Rage Walkthrough
Bloody Rage is a classic fighting game that made its debut on Newgrounds on September 25, 2002. This fighting game features a slew of characters (such as Tomb Raider's Lara Croft, Marvel Comics' Spiderman, and Freddy Krueger of Nightmare on Elm Street fame) and even allows players to customize their own fighters!
Bloody Rage plays similar to the original Mortal Kombat. Fights are one-on-one, and the objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar while preventing them from doing the same to you.. There are eighteen characters to choose from in this fighting game, or you may create your own character by mixing and matching parts of the default characters. All characters use the same set of moves, so your choice is purely aesthetic.
The keyboard is used to control Bloody Rage. Use the arrow keys (or WASD keys) to move. The K and L keys are used to kick and punch respectively. If you want to learn additional special moves, be sure to click "Additional Info" on the main menu, or take a look at the list of moves presented in the background of the first level.
Although gamers that prefer finesse may frown upon such techniques, spam and button-mashing do work in Bloody Rage. You may perform special moves repeatedly without penalty, so do not be ashamed to throw volley after volley of fireballs to keep your opponent pinned. The AI is nothing spectacular (although it was back in 2002 when this fighting game was released), so button-mashing is an effective way to escape being cornered. This technique also works should you forget how to conduct special moves; with enough button mashing, a fireball or special kick of some sort is bound to be performed!
Despite its age, Bloody Rage is still a contender in the world of Flash fighting games. Whether you are a newcomer or a gamer that wants to relive a bygone era of Flash gaming, this fighting game is sure to provide a bloody good time!
