Arnes De Mano Walkthrough
Arnes De Mano is an artistic fighting game with a unique mouse control scheme. This fighting game features fluid animation and two modes of gameplay.
There are two gameplay modes in Arnes De Mano: Survival and Duel. The goal of Survival Mode is to survive against waves of enemies for as long as possible. In Duel Mode, you are placed in a one-on-one fight against a powerful computer-controlled opponent. If this fighting game is too challenging, then I suggest you to set the game's difficulty level to "Noobie" under the game settings menu.
Arnes De Mano uses a very unique control scheme. Instead of pressing keys or clicking buttons, all actions in this fighting game are controlled by action nodes surrounding your character. Hover your mouse over these nodes to perform actions such as moving forward, jumping, attacking, and reversing direction. This setup may take a while to get used to, so keep practicing. Practice Mode may also help you to get used to the controls. Practice Mode may be accessed from the "How to Play" dialogue box.
Once you have gotten used to the controls of Arnes De Mano, you will be able to devise fighting techniques to deal with your opponents. In Survival Mode, you have three meters to worry about: health, stamina, and aggression. If your health bar is depleted, you will lose the game of course. Stamina is depleted by performing attacks, so it is a good idea to use hit-and-fade techniques in Survival Mode. If your stamina reaches zero, you will steadily lose health for performing attacks. Aggression increases as attacks are performed. The higher your aggression level, the more damage your attacks will deal against enemies.
Duel Mode consists of the one-on-one combat found in traditional fighting games. You do not need to worry about stamina or aggression in this mode, so an all-out attack may work. Sticking and moving is still a viable tactic in Duel Mode, however, since you will still have to avoid your opponent's attacks.
Arnes De Mano is a well-designed fighting game that is a break from the usual style of the genre. Fighting game purists may be turned off by the control style of the game, but casual gamers will appreciate only have to use the mouse.
